Aunt Meredith's Wedding

Last week while GiGi & Daideo were still in town, Aunt Meredith and Uncle Chris got married.  And the best part of all was I got to be a flower girl!  I got to wear a beautiful white dress, just like Meredith.  I called it my Elsa dress because it was beautiful like Elsa's dress.  I had sparkly blue Elsa shoes, too, and Meredith's friend Jenae even put braids in my hair just like Elsa!

I got to the church early with GiGi so I could get dressed and take pictures with everyone.  I did a pretty good job holding still and taking pictures before the wedding.

Aunt Meredith gave me a beautiful necklace
with a blue stone and a "C" for Caitlin
I love it!  It's so sparkly!
All ready!
Posing with Aunt Meredith.  She looked so beautiful!
Waiting our turn for pictures.
I got to hold Mommy's bouquet!
Then we had some time to play before the wedding.  I had fun playing and reading books with Knox, the ring bearer, and Sally, the other flower girl.  I got to meet them the day before at the bridal lunch we had at our house and at the rehearsal at the church that night (that's where you go and practice for the wedding so everyone knows what they're supposed to do).

Never too dressed up to ride a rocking toy!
After playing for a while, it was time to get lined up for the wedding!  Mommy and the other bridesmaids had beautiful blue dresses, and they got to walk in first.  Then it was my turn to go with Sally and Knox right before Aunt Meredith and Papa.  My job and Sally's job was to drop flowers from our baskets in the aisle for Aunt Meredith to walk on, and Knox's was to carry the rings on his pillow.  We did a great job, better than the rehearsal the night before even!  Check us out:

After the wedding, we had to stay to take some more pictures.  I was pretty tired of taking pictures by then and didn't want to do anymore, so everyone had to bribe me by singing "Let it Go" and giving me bunny crackers to hold still for the pictures.  We got a few more good ones, and then it was finally time to go to the party!  I sat at a table with GiGi and Daideo so Mommy and Daddy could sit with the rest of the wedding party.  I got to eat yummy macaroni and cheese and applesauce for dinner.  After dinner, I had lots of fun running around with Daideo, dancing with Daddy, and looking at all the pretty lights and decorations.
Having a blast with Daideo

We got to dance right next to Aunt Meredith and Papa!
Time to go home!
The party was really fun, but by 8:30 or 9 I was super tired from my busy day being Elsa the flower girl!  GiGi and Daideo and I went home, and I was so tired that I fell asleep in the car and GiGi had to change me out of my dress and into my jammies while I was sleeping!  Being a flower girl was so much fun, and I'm so glad GiGi and Daideo were here to help and take care of me!

Christmas 2.0 with GiGi & Daideo

The best part of Christmas this year was that it wasn't over on December 26th!  The week after Christmas, GiGi, Daideo, and Sean came to visit, and we got to do it all over again!  GiGi and Sean got here first on Tuesday afternoon.  I was so happy to see them!  Mommy and Daddy told me they were coming, so I was waiting by the front door watching for them, even though it was super cold outside!  Wednesday, Mommy & Daddy had to go to work, and I got to stay home with GiGi and Sean.  We had so much fun playing at home!  On Thursday, Mommy and Daddy stayed home, too, because it was New Year's Day.  We went to Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland, and Sean and I had soooo much fun!
We were so excited to see the fish in the very first tank!
Checking out some stingrays up close
Sean was brave and touched the starfish in the touch pool, but I was too scared!
Check out that big shark!  It's called a guitar shark.
Taking a break in front of the big tank
with Mommy, Sean, & GiGi
Holding hands with Sean and checking out the jellies.
He's my best friend!
Peek-a-boo!  You could walk right under this fish tank.
Sean LOVED the big sting ray and eel tank!
I had lots of fun building a lego sand castle.
Sean really liked climbing up above the stingray tank.
I tried it, too, but the ground was see through,
and it was sort of scary!
Making legos at Legoland
My turn!
There was a room of Legos that looked like Kansas City,
and they had a Nascar race track where we could push the
buttons to make the cars zoom around the track!
There was a Duplo village with giant Lego animals.
I loved giving them hugs!
Check out this Lego motor cycle!  It was just my size!
Later on Thursday, Daideo got here, too!  He flew on an airplane, and Daddy went to pick him up at the airport.  We ate a yummy dinner when they got home, and then it was time to open Christmas presents again!  We were tired from our busy day, but it was still so much fun!  Mommy and Daddy got lots of stuff for Baby Liam, and I got lots of toys!  I got a stuffed Olaf and a Princess Anna doll that also came with an Anna dress for me to wear.  I also got a princess car that you can drive just by pushing a button.  I almost knocked over the Christmas tree the first time I tried it, but I'm getting better at steering!  From Sean I got a doctor kit just like the one he has that I loved playing with when we visited for Thanksgiving.
Waiting for everyone to be ready to open presents
Snuggling with Olaf
Opening my Anna doll
Matey sent me some fairy wings,
and I've been wearing them ever since!
I checked everyone's heart with my new doctor kit.
GiGi, Daideo, and Sean stayed through the weekend after that to help take care of me during Aunt Meredith's wedding, but I'll tell you all about that in my next post.  It was so fun having them visit!  Sean and I are starting to have so much fun playing together!  Check out these videos of us:

I cried when they left because I missed them so much, and I can't wait until I get to see them again when we go to the beach this summer!

Christmas 2014

Ho ho ho!  Merry Christmas!
I had so much fun celebrating Christmas this year!  I loved learning about Baby Jesus and Mary and Joseph, opening presents, reading Christmas books, and eating all the yummy food!

On Christmas Eve we went to church, only it was really different from church when we usually go!  There were live animals there and Baby Jesus and Mary and Joseph, along with shepherds and wise men and everything.  And, kids read the Christmas story from the bible instead of grown-ups.  It was so cool!  I loved it!

After church, we went over to Aunt Meredith and Uncle Chris's apartment for dinner.  Nana and Papa and Uncle Chris's parents were there, too.  The food was yummy, and I had lots of fun looking at the pretty Christmas tree.
Trying on a Minnie Christmas hat Chris's parents brought
There was a Mickey one for Aunt Meredith, too.

After dinner, it was time to go home and go to sleep so Santa could come.  When I woke up on Christmas morning, he had filled my stocking and brought me some presents!  He brought me a high chair and cradle for my baby dolls.  Mommy and Daddy and I also opened our presents under the Christmas tree.  Then after presents, it was time for monkey bread.  It was so yummy!

I found candy in my stocking!
I also found a Frozen Snackeez cup that holds your drink AND a snack!
Brushing my teeth with my new princess electric toothbrush
Daddy got to open his Christmas stocking, too!
Mmm, monkey bread!
Delicious!

After opening presents at home, we went over to Nana and Papa's house to have Christmas with the rest of the family.  Aunt Meredith & Uncle Chris, Aunt Hilary & Uncle Jake, and Great Grandma and Grandpa all came over, too.  We ate another yummy dinner and then got to open even more presents.  My favorite was an Elsa doll that Aunt Meredith got for me.  After presents, Papa read The Polar Express just like he does every year.  It's a really good book about a boy who rides a train to the North Pole to see Santa on Christmas Eve.

It was such a fun 2 days!  The best part was it wasn't even over after that, because the next week GiGi and Daideo and Sean came in town to celebrate again!  I'll tell you all about that soon, too!  I love Christmas!
