Liam Twelve Month Update

Hi everybody!  Last week I turned 1 year old, which is 12 months.  That means this is my last monthly update for a while.  What a fast and crazy year it has been!  This last month has been pretty much all about moving to our new house.  Cate and I have both done AWESOME since we moved 2 weeks ago.  Cate loves her new room and all of the space, and I'm pretty much happy anywhere as long as there's food!
12 months old 04/20/16
Stats:
Weight: 24 lbs 3 oz (90th percentile)
Height: 30 1/2 inches (75th percentile)
Clothes size: 18 & 24 mos
Shoe size: 4
Diaper size: 5
Teeth: 8

What's New:
-I am really good at cruising and walking pushing push toys or holding 2 hands.
-I can sit on and push a ride on toy.
-I can say 7 or 8 words, including my new favorites "uh-oh" and "dog" (which sounds like "gog").
-I can wave and say "bye bye."
-I can crawl up the stairs but not down.  I like to crawl to the top and then immediately turn around and sit down with my bottom hanging halfway off the top step so I almost fall before Mommy grabs me at the last second.  It's a really fun game!

Liam is One!

Hey everybody!  It's me, Liam.  Today I had my very first birthday party!  It was sooooo much fun!  I bet you can guess what my favorite part was... the cake!

Me and Mommy and Daddy before the party
I love my mama!
Hanging out with my Godfather, Chris
Lots of my friends came over to celebrate with me, and we had tons of fun playing in a ball pit, splashing with some water bombs in a big bucket, and playing with a bubble machine.  All of my friends and I loved the games.  The best part was throwing all of the balls out of the ball pit!

Breaking in the ball pit before all my friends got there.

Bubbles and water!  Awesome!
The water bombs were a big hit!
After games, it was time for some cake.  I almost threw a fit because I didn't want to wait until everyone was done singing to start eating it!  I made a HUGE mess.  That bucket from the water bombs on the deck sure came in handy as a tub to rinse off when I was done!

I had my hand in the cake before Mommy even let go of the tray!
Chocolate = yummy!
Proud of my mess :)
I was super messy and grumpy when cake time was over!
I wasn't so sure about the cold water.
Here is a video of me digging into my cake:

After cake, it was time to open presents before everyone went home.  I got some really cool stuff, including lots of noisy and touch and feels books, blocks, a sports center with a soccer ball and a basketball, a big truck, and my very own Scout the puppy.  James has a Scout, and I was really jealous!  It was an all-around awesome day.  Thank you so much to all of my friends and family who came to help me celebrate!  I can't wait to do it again next year!

Bye bye!  Thanks for coming!
